Where to eat in Sydney?

My favorites

These are some of my favorites throughout Sydney

Pool Cafe

This is one of the first places my boyfriend took me for breakfast. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the ocean. They have an extensive menu with awesome items that you won't find everywhere. My absolute favorite is the avocado stack with bacon. It comes with tomato, goat cheese, pesto and a poached egg. It is to die for! You also HAVE to try a thick shake. My boyfriend got me absolutely addicted to their Nutella thick shake. You will not regret it.

Coogee Pavilion

Okay, so.. Coogee Pavilion is probably my favorite. Located at Coogee Beach, this three level restaurant/hang out is the place to be! They have individual restaurants within, but you can order from all of the menus at the bar or at the hightop tables in the bar area. This is excluding the rooftop restaurant. I've only eaten downstairs, but the food was perfect. They have amazing pizzas that I daydream about daily and their wings are comparable to NY wings. I've also had their oysters which were small, but fresh and delicious. I can't stress this enough- GO TO COOGEE PAVILION! PS- they have rosé on tap ;).

The Boatshed

Boatshed is located on La Perouse Beach. This is one of my favorite beaches in Sydney. The water is calm and clear and the beach is clean and peaceful. The food at Boat Shed is definitely not lacking. They have breakfast and lunch which I throughly enjoyed! I would 100% recommend the Ricotta Hotcakes for breakfast. They were so delicious and filling. For lunch, I had oysters and the BBQ baby octopus and it was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend had the Boatshed burger and I loved that as well!

Hyde Hacienda

Before I went to Sydney, I saw Hacienda Bar on Instagram and I had to go! It is so aesthetically pleasing and they have an amazing view of Circular Quay. They do have really good food, but I would recommend coming here for happy hour drinks, sunday funday or after dinner if you're looking for a cute place to go with a good atmosphere. I've probably had 90% of the drinks on their menu. I would recommend trying their Harbourside Hibiscus, Campfire Espresso Martini, Aloe You.
